Cultivate Retreat Waiver

This agreement constitutes the liabilities regarding your participation in Cultivate: A Creative Retreat for Followers of Jesus, organized by Isaak “Yitzy” Holton-Hinshaw.

Please read the following Liability Waiver and confirm your agreement with these terms by checking the box in the registration form next to “I have read and agree to the Retreat Waiver”.

Acknowledgment, Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

In consideration of my participation in Cultivate (The Retreat), organized by Isaak “Yitzy” Holton-Hinshaw (The Host), I hereby agree as follows:

  1. I assume all risks and hereby release and agree to hold harmless The Host, their affiliates and any affiliated organizations (collectively the “Releasees”) from and against all liability for any loss, property damage or damage to persons, including illness, injury or death due to whole or in part, or related to, directly or indirectly, The Retreat.

  2. I understand and agree that this Waiver and Release is binding on my heirs, assigns, and legal representatives.

  3. I understand that participation in The Retreat may involve inherent risks, including risk of damage to personal property, physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent paralysis and/or death, and I assume all related risks related directly, or indirectly to The Retreat.

  4. I agree to indemnify all of the Releasees from and against any and all claims, actions, lawsuits, damages and judgments, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or relating to my participation in The Retreat.

  5. I agree I will be fully and financially responsible for my own physical condition and well-being during The Retreat and will follow the safety precautions and instructions prescribed by The Host.

  6. I acknowledge:

    a. There will be no medical services or support services provided to attendees;
    b. That there may be applicable municipal and provincial laws and regulations in place, and agree to follow them during all phases of my participation.

By agreeing to the terms outlined here and elsewhere on the The Host’s website I hereby release and discharge my rights and claims for damages or liabilities that may occur as a result of participation on a The Host’s retreat.

I have carefully read and fully understand all the contents of this agreement and am freely, knowingly and voluntarily entering into this agreement by signing up for The Retreat.
